Since the Taliban's takeover in 2021, women in Afghanistan have endured one of the most extreme gender-based crackdowns in modern history. Banned from schools, stripped of their careers, silenced in public, and forced under full-body veils—Afghan women are prisoners of war in their own homes.

But their voices haven’t vanished.

They are rising—through poetry. Through whispered courage. Through underground classrooms. And through Voices Unveiled.

Why Now?

Since launching in 2023, Voices Unveiled has provided hundreds of women with:

• A free 3-month online course in Self-Empowerment and Feminism, offered in secret three times a week.
• Mental health guidance and tools for emotional survival under Taliban rule.
• Access to a community of hope, courage, and sisterhood.

But this work is entirely donor-funded. And right now, we need your help to keep going—and grow.
